Ringneck Pheasant -
birds, photos
These birds were first introduced from China to the Willamette Valley of Oregon in 1881. Since that time nearly all states have attempted to establish Ringnecks. These birds are polygamous species, and the removal of 90 percent or more of the roosters has no effect on reproduction. Ringneck pheasant birds can be seen in many hunting photos.
